Try some home remedies to treat dandruff

If one is suffering from too much oily or too much dry scalp then there is a huge possibility that one can face dandruff and white flake problems.

When this happens one needs to remove them immediately before they become a heavy and a regular symptom. One can use organic anti dandruff shampoos to get rid of them or they can use some home remedies to treat them.

Baking Soda is a good exfoliator

Baking soda is another good thing which can be used to fight dandruff problems. One can take a spoonful of baking soda and rub it slowly on the scalp. Keep it for at least 2 minutes and wash it of well with a proper shampoo. This baking soda scrubs the scalp well and removes the dead skin that has accumulated on the scalp. No dead skin means there will be no space for the fungus to develop that will lead to dandruff formation.

Aspirin

One has never thought of using aspirin as a dandruff remedy, right? But this works really well. In this case, one needs to take 2 aspirin tablets and crush them into powder. Then mix a little amount of regular shampoo with that powder. Shampoo with that mixture and leave the shampoo on your hair for 2 minutes. Then you can rinse it well with water. Aspirin tablets have salicylic acid and that helps in treating dandruff.

Olive oil

This is particular oil which is full of anti oxidants and it can keep the scalp very healthy. It has some essential nutrients like Vitamin A and E and it has some anti bacterial and anti fungal elements that can fight back the dandruff attacks and other hair problems. Take an adequate amount of olive oil and apply it well on your scalp. Message with your finger tips and leave it for a few minutes. Cover your hair with a warm towel. After half an hour, wash it away with a mild shampoo. You will get a problem free hair in return.

Lemon juice

This is a very common remedy to fight dandruff. One has to squeeze the fresh juice out of a lemon and apply it over the scalp with your finger tips. Then slowly massage the scalp so that the lemon juice covers every part of the scalp. You can also dilute the juice by adding a few drops of water into it. Keep it for a few minutes and then wash it well with a mild shampoo.

Apple Cider or White Vinegar

Vinegar is a good solution for an itchy scalp.  It also kills the bacteria and fungus created by dandruff. The acidic content of vinegar is very beneficial and it helps in reducing the dandruff flakes. One needs to add equal amount of water and white vinegar on the scalp and leave it for half an hour before washing it off with a mild shampoo.

There are some strongest dandruff shampoos available which one can buy from medical stores and use them in a proper way.
